Pam Lamberty Duncan
Pam Lamberty-Duncan MA, LMHP, PLADC, is a licensed mental health professional and independent contractor at the Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska. Much of her work focuses on moving individuals and families through conflict toward change. Pam works with children, teens,and adults on an individual basis to rediscover their power, a sense of compassionate self-understanding, and the meaning in difficult life experiences. She uses a calm presence to approach each client with acceptance, sensitivity, and empathy. Pam believes that within a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, true change is possible.
Pam has devoted over 20 years working with children and families in a variety of settings including public and private education, policy and safety, mental health and substance abuse counseling, and residential co-occurring adolescent treatment. She received her bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and master’s degree in counseling from Doane College. Pam has experience working with children and adults in the areas of attachment, addiction, trauma resolution, depression and anxiety. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness techniques to lead to a more individualized approach.
