Meet Hope

Hope Peabody, MSW, LIMHP, is a licensed clinical social worker, independent contractor, and partner at The Attachment and Trauma Center of Nebraska in Omaha. With specialized expertise in Crisis Intervention and the treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Hope also brings a broad range of counseling experience to her practice. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), regularly facilitating DBT groups, and has achieved Level 2 training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Before transitioning to private practice, Hope worked at YWCA Omaha as a sexual assault counselor and Clinical Coordinator. In this role, she provided support to survivors and played a key role in developing and coordinating clinical services. Additionally, Hope has provided in-home therapy and was instrumental in creating an aftercare program for incarcerated women. Her dedication to trauma recovery extends to her work in training law enforcement, medical personnel, and other mental health professionals in treating psychological trauma, with a particular focus on sexual assault.

Hope earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and she continues to be a strong advocate for trauma-informed care in the community.

If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you get results.
