Our Services

dbt for adults

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a cognitive-behavioral approach designed to help adults who struggle with intense emotions, self-destructive behaviors, and chaotic or unstable relationships. Based on the model developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D., DBT teaches skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. It is effective for a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

dbt for teens

Our Teen DBT program is a specialized year-long group therapy designed for adolescents aged 13-19. It addresses challenges such as emotional regulation, suicidal thoughts, impulsivity, self-harm, anger, and relationship problems. Through weekly skills training, teens learn techniques to manage emotions and improve relationships in a supportive environment. Families are encouraged to be involved in the therapy process, ensuring a comprehensive approach to healing.

Attachment Therapy for Children and Adults

Integrative Attachment Trauma Protocol for Children (IATP-C) integrates family therapy and EMDR therapy addresses symptoms and behaviors resulting from attachment disruptions or trauma in children and adolescents.

Attachment-Focused Trauma Therapy for Adults (AFFT-A) integrates EMDR trauma therapy with methods that promote a healthy personality structure and healthy attachment patterns.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy used to treat trauma and its associated symptoms. EMDR helps individuals process distressing memories and reduce their emotional impact by using guided eye movements. This evidence-based approach is effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related conditions.

Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a therapeutic technique that identifies, processes, and releases trauma stored in the brain and body. By using a specific “brain spot” in the client’s visual field, the therapist helps access and resolve deeply rooted emotional pain. It is particularly useful for those who have not fully benefited from traditional talk therapies and is effective for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges.
