ABOUT PAM
I have devoted over 30 years working with children and families in a variety of settings including public and private education, policy and safety, mental health and substance abuse counseling, and residential co-occurring adolescent treatment.
As a mental health therapist, it is my mission to guide clients through change and healing and discovering greater understanding of self. I work with children, teens, and adults on an individual basis to rediscover empowerment, a sense of compassionate self-understanding, and the meaning in difficult life experiences. I use a calm presence including a focus on acceptance, sensitivity, and empathy. I believe that within a compassionate, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship, true change is possible.
There is no normal life that is free of pain. It’s the very wrestling with our problems that can be the impetus for our growth.
